Cicero Caffè Marzamemi
📍 2 km · Marzamemi · €

A granita with brioche, the sea in front of you and Marzamemi's old tonnara in the background: it's hard to imagine a better breakfast. Cicero Caffè sits at the entrance to the village, right across from the sea, and you can park out front. Perfect before heading off to the beach.
Granita and cornetti
In our opinion, this is the best granita in Marzamemi. If you've never tried one, Sicilian granita is a semi-frozen treat made with sugar and fruit, almonds, coffee or pistachio, smoother and creamier than a sorbet. Sicilians eat it for breakfast in summer, with a soft brioche for dipping. If you'd rather go for something more classic, they also have cornetti, the Italian croissant.
Our tip
Inside it's air-conditioned, and outside there are two terraces: the front one looks out to sea, the back one is in the shade. On the hottest summer mornings, go for the one at the back.
