Marzamemi Beach

Spinazza is Marzamemi's own beach, the closest to the village. It's the easy choice for a carefree swim, perhaps before or after a stroll around the village.

The beach

Fine golden sand and clear water that stays shallow for quite a way out: perfect for children too. Stretches of free public beach alternate with beach clubs (lidi) offering sunbeds and umbrellas, so you choose how to spend your day. Right next door is San Lorenzo, which is very similar: if you only have time for one beach, we think San Lorenzo is even more beautiful; if you'd rather stay close to the village, Spinazza is perfect. If you'd rather have a quieter beach, where mostly locals go, try Morghella.

How to get there

You'll need the car: there's parking nearby, but in high season it's best to arrive early.

Our tip

Before the beach, stop at Cicero Caffè at the entrance to the village for a granita with brioche. Then head straight to the sea.
